Dear Delegates

It gives me great pleasure to invite you to the 5^th International Conference on Interprofessional Education Practice & Care 2025 (ICON-IPEPC) which, considering the current times, will be a Hybrid event. The theme of this fourth edition is “Technology-Enhanced Interprofessional Education Practice & Care”.

Interprofessional education (IPE) occurs when health professionals from diverse disciplines purposefully learn from each other. It is being deduced increasingly that a multidisciplinary approach is the optimal model of patient care. The competence at community setting has been seen as one of the important determinants of above statement. The fifth edition of IPEPC will deliberate mostly on the impact of digital transformations especially use of AI and other modes to enhance interprofessional collaboration and practice.

The Conference is having diverse presentations in form of plenary sessions, panel discussions, symposia and workshops involving various nationally and internationally acclaimed experts in the field of IPE, in addition to the traditional free papers & e-posters.

Of late we have started an international journal club in interprofessional education practice & care to close the loop between all the future ICON-IPEPCs. Let’s strive to make a digital age community of practice in interprofessional practice which can add to the evolving healthcare landscape.

It’s my supreme pleasure to welcome delegates from across the world registered for this hybrid conference of Manipal University College Malaysia (MUCM, nevertheless a true blue-chip Institution in our near quarter century of professional medical education in Malaysia.
