Free Paper Presentation

  • Language preference is English. Font Theme must be in Arial/Times New Roman.
  • All presentations should be prepared in Microsoft Power Point.
  • Presentation durations is 8 minutes and 2 minutes for discussion.
  • Ensure that FPP ID No (will be provided at a later date on confirmation of acceptance and registration) is included on the top left corner of the first slide.
  • Presenters are requested to email their Free Paper presentations at least 24 hours before their presentation time.
  • If videos are incorporated it should be prepared in AVI/MP4/WMV format only.
  • Avoid using hyperlinks or videos on DVDs/CDs.
  • Presentations created on a MACINTOSH should be converted to run on a PC. .mov video need to convert to .WMV for best effect. Insert pictures in JPG format (NOT TIF,PNG or PICT format).
  • If the presenter is absent on their turn, no further chance will be given.
  • Only support standard fonts that are installed in Microsoft Office, if you use special font it should be embedded in power point presentation.
  • It is the presenter’s responsibility to ensure the copyright to use the images in their presentations. As presentations will be screening from a computer via projector presentations with large file sizes or photographs should have the photos compressed to 96 dpi .
  • Pictures, graphics should be clearly labelled and described.
  • Pictures and graphics should be a minimum of 150 dpi.
  • Only the FPP ID No (will be provided on confirmation of the acceptance of abstract) of the author must be mentioned. Name, designation, affiliation and e-mail address must not be mentioned.
  • Declaration of conflict of interest is mandatory. For guidance on conflict of interest statements see ICMJE recommendations ( If no conflict exists, state that The Author(s) declare(s) that there is no conflict of interest.
  • Contents of presentation should include the following.
    • FPP ID NO
    • Title: Title to be printed at the top of the E-poster. (BOLD CAPITAL letters) Introduction: To mention Background and Aim/research question/objective of the study
    • Methods: Mention the design of the study, interventions, outcomes, statistical methods and version of software used
    • Results: Observed results in summary form along with statistical inference as well as relevant Table/Image/Illustrations.
    • Discussion and Conclusion: To be brief and relevant supported by the findings within results; limitations of the study
    • Take home messages and future prospective
    • References: Relevant recent references
    • Acknowledgement

    Presenters are reminded to stay for the awards presentation on the second day (evening) of the main conference, where results for the Best Free Paper Presentation category (Winner, Runner-up) will be announced.
