Theme of the conference: Interprofessional Education for Collaborative Practice (IPECP): Building & Implementing Community Competence

Sub Themes:

The focus of this conference will be the integration of interprofessional practice (IPECP) in urban, rural and remote communities to build community competence* in health and social care. The following are possible areas for presentations.

1. Developing the concept of IPECP in community competence in IPECP curricula.
2. Methods and processes for building and implementing capacity in IPECP with communities.
3. How to build an understanding of IPECP in team-based community care.
4. How to build interprofessional team-based community competencies.
5. Evaluation of IPECP learning in and by communities.
6. Assessment of  IPECP learning in and by communities.
7. Developing leadership and governance in IPECP to build community competence.
8. Understanding and explaining the return on investment from IPECP in communities.
9. Applying appreciative enquiry to IPECP in communities. 10.     Simulating IPECP in community settings
